We know that we exist in two different worlds, simultaneously. Some may not believe so, but for those of us that do, we can sense and feel a world beyond the 3 dimensional space in which we live (4, including time).
If you want to look at it a different way, thought exists in the world just as physical objects do, but because they're not visibly seen, it's easy to disregard their existence. In order to create something, anything, it must first start as a thought it someones mind.
In fact, there's nothing in the world that humanity has created, that first didn't start as a thought in someone's mind.
So, you must first create the mental images/goals you want in thought in order to bring them into the physical existence we are able to see, touch, and feel.
For me though, I have a hard time being still and creating thoughts that resonate with deep purpose, without being crowded by logical brain thinking.
For instance, I’ll start a thought about what I want, but along the building of the mental image/goal, I start to second guess everything about it. Is it aligned with what I truly want? Why that much, why not more? Why stop with that? Logical thinking that makes me end up feeling more confused, a little lost, and definitely more frustrated than with where I’m currently at.
However, I believe there’s a missing piece to this. And maybe it’s not for everyone, but for those of us who are much more adept at feeling things through our bodies than our logical brains, myself included. This allows me to tap into a deeper part of myself and connection to the spiritual realm.
How do I do this?
I utilize physical movement of Tai Chi, and incorporate mental visualization of goals/things that I want in my own life that land in a specific part of the flow of exercise. This allows mental and physical to work together and create a harmonious relationship with one another.
For example, in the most recent session, the goals and aspirations for a family, a wife and kids, took to the right side of this flowing exercise. I suspend a mental manifestation like a ball of energy that holds this goal. With each movement towards this goal on the right side of the body, I could connect the feeling that I want from a loving wife and children, loving home, and in which we all co-existed together. These feelings end up making a physical and mental manifestation of these desires, and I can start to envision exactly what my family looks like, I can see our beautiful house, I can see our backyard, little details, and the more that I continue with the exercise the more detailed the visions become.
The souls purpose and mission, or Gods mission for me, was placed central and above. With each movement towards this section of my goals and aspirations, I wanted to keep it open to what God had to say to me. It was essentially this path of freedom. This path of complete and utter self-acceptance and self-love, that I am different, and I shouldn’t place my success on someone else. It’s up to me to carry this torch myself. I will of course have help from many, but it’s important to understand that looking outside myself for happiness, and for answers will lead nowhere. It would instead lead to frustration and bitterness. I saw that I may not have all the answers, and truly I never will, but I have a feeling, an intuition that needs to be honored and it needs to be listened to.
Financial, and quality of life was placed to the left side of my body. Moving to this section created a deeper understanding of what my lifestyle would afford me. It actually made a mark on me to disregard the concept of money, and instead focus on helping people. “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” - Luke 6:38. It’s a hard concept to wrap our earthly heads around, because our society is run on money. However, intuition and God said to me: “Listen, and you will be rewarded. You may not know how it will happen, but that’s not up for you to figure out. Instead, follow me, and I will show the way.”
I leave this here as a technique that works for me, and perhaps can help another!
